In The Small, Small Pond By Denise Fleming
Jump, Frog, Jump By Robert Kalan
Our frogs.
Marble painting (what will be) lily pads :)
Do you recognize the flyswatter painting? And the marble art? :)
After I let Love Bug do her art thing (remember, for young children it is process over product. We do not want to dictate how their art project will end up. For them it is all about the process of enjoying doing the project itself) I will take her art project and recycle it into a part of her next sensory bin.
Our sensory bin all put together.
Speckled frogs on a log! I've sang this song at least a dozen times a day! Love Bug does love it! It's hard to get pictures of our music and movement, but we do some songs about a lot of our activities. Another one of our favorite frog songs is Down By the Banks of the Hanky Panky. :)
Jump, Frog, Jump!
Spray Sidewalk Chalk is AWESOME!!
We eventually went on to graffiti our water fountain.
Which turned out gorgeous. I'm kind of sad it's going to wash away with the rain.
We added a lady bug and a frog to our sensory bottle. I haven't permanently sealed it because 1. I want to add a couple more things to it that I need to get from the store and 2. I want to change it out to a new water bottle that I bought. But yes, it is important to permanently seal these sensory bottles. (I use hot glue or a craft sealing compound)
Her stuffed frog animal that we got from the zoo. She spends quite a bit of time jabbering away at this thing!
Painting with our frogs this morning. I'm pretty sure her art motto is that if you don't need a bath at the end of the activity, then you didn't do it right! ;)
We had an awesome find of this stretchy/squishy frog at The Dollar Tree, so we added it to our sensory bin.
