Our DOG books!
Our CAT books!
Some cat and dog fine and gross motor activities for independent play.
In the yellow bin we have cat and dog animal figures.
Throw in a straight object and your little one will be balancing away!
In the green bin I have laminated pictures of dogs. I use these for language development and pretend/imaginative play.
We have been checking in on our friend Mr. Nibbles, the guinea pig, at our local library.
One of our favorite toys is this Melissa & Doug dog guitar instrument.
It has a setting to howl like a dog. It is fabulous. For short periods of time anyways. ;) :p
I mixed food coloring and corn syrup and let her make dog foot prints with it.
She then discovered that if she lifted the paper up, that her dots would drip.
Then she wanted to wipe her dog off.
Which in turn led to use wiping herself off. ;)
We took our dogs outside and let them play in the sandbox. :)
And roam around the construction site.
Ahhh! It's the attack of the 3 foot toddler!
