How Do Dinosaurs Say I Love You

Hello Dinosaur
That's Not My Dinosaur
Dinosaur dig sensory bin. I used (CLEAN) shredded paper, dinosaur figurines, and shapes. Hide your objects in the paper and encourage your little one to dig through it to find the objects. Narrate what they are doing to build language and vocabulary skills! ("You are digging through the paper! It is soft/cold/brown" "you found the red triangle!" "it looks like fun to work at finding those shapes")
I buried the items in the paper and she had to dig around to find them.
We were pretending that our big green ball was a dinosaur egg. Young children, don't have "experienced" to base their imaginative play off of, so we create those experiences for them. Even if they don't fully "get it", it's input and at some point it will grow into output! We have a slight incline in part of our backyard that we would push the ball up and watch it roll back down. It was a great gross motor activity.
