We used shapes from our shape sorter to paint. This is a great fine motor skills activity.
We have been exploring all kinds of objects that go down the slide. Our favorites have been the plastic balls and the toy cars. Gross motor skills activity. Also works with hand/eye coordination.
I discovered that washable markers work fabulously on this little table!
Easy peasy motor skills activity. Or sorting activity.
As you can see, we have been doing a hodgepodge of activities this week as we transition from our "Green" unit through our "Farm" unit and into our "Spring" unit (which we will be starting next week). It all kind of runs together and yet I feel as if it's all being rushed. I think it is because it's my first time actually trying to do structured themes. It's kind of overwhelming! Next week I'm jumping off the farm theme and will be starting the spring theme with spring animals...chicks, bunnies, lambs, ducks, etc. Then I will be moving into spring flowers and gardens, bees and butterflies, birds, rainbows, rain, etc. I have TONS of fun ideas, so stay posted!
