Because sometimes you just need to immerse yourself in your toys. :)
I just kept it really simple- we read the book and we played with the toys!
While playing with the toys, I made sure to use descriptive words (the big, blue elephant has a long trunk).
I also offered her the sounds that the animals make (the lion says roar).
